Acrobat 9 gets a dose of Flash:

The story was first run back in June 2008 but I think its worth knowing that Acrobat 9 has a built in flash player.  This means that a PDF document can now contain  and play imbedded flash 360° Panoramic and 360° Object Images.

What this means is that when downloading a PDF product brochure the viewer will be able to see the flash 360° Object Image and be able to zoom in and out, rotating as they go.

Coming soon, Object Photography.  Object Photography lets you view an object from all directions.  An item of clothing on a tailors dummy may be turned so you can see what it looks like all the way around.  A jeweller can display rings and bracelets as if you were looking at them in the display cabinet.  Viewing all sides of an object means that anybody with products can now display them to there full on the internet.
